Flexographic printing machine mainly consists of 4 parts, namely, unwinding feeding parts, printing parts, drying parts and rewinding receiving parts. In the modern flexographic press, there are generally tension control, edge control, registration control, printing observation and other measurement and control devices and mechanical condition monitoring and fault diagnosis system. In addition, in order to expand the scope of application, some flexographic presses are also equipped with glazing, laminating, hot stamping, slitting, die-cutting, drilling, screen printing, and gravure units, becoming a flexographic joint production line.
Uncoil the feed component
Flexographic printing machine printing speed generally reaches 150m/min (or even higher), under normal operation, in order to reduce the number of shutdown coil change and waste of drum material, must be installed uncoil feeding device. The function of the unwinding feed pack is to unroll the rolled substrate material, continuously and stably feed the substrate material into the printed part, and control its speed, tension and transverse position before the printed material reaches the first printed part. The uncoiling feed component is composed of a roll frame and a set of guide rollers, and the roll frame is arranged in a straight line on the printed part. The roll frame is controlled by electric or hydraulic components, and the web axis is generally locked by pneumatic components, and the end of the web is equipped with a detector.
Tension control system
The uncoiling feed unit is also equipped with a digitally controlled electromagnetic brake tension system. It provides optimal tension control for different substrates and is not affected by dust and dirt. The tension compensation control adopts a loop self-detection system, which can continuously maintain the tension stability of the paper (or film) when the diameter of the web continues to decrease.
Driving roll
The uncoiling feeding unit is also equipped with a drive roll machine. The drive roll is an easily adjustable variable feed roll that controls the speed at which the web enters the printing unit smoothly and, together with the roll brake device, produces the unwinding tension of the tape to accommodate the production of different substrates (cardstock, tissue paper, plastic film, etc.) while ensuring that the web remains correct
Floating roll
The floating roll machine for unwinding the feed parts can reduce the fluctuation of the unwinding tension and shorten the downtime during the refueling roll to improve the efficiency of the flexographic press: most flexographic presses are equipped with continuous coil change devices, and the material coil is connected without stopping, which is particularly important for the floating roll.
Edge control system
High-grade flexographic press unwinding feeding device is also equipped with edge control system, one edge control system is installed in front of the printing unit, the other edge control system is installed in front of the die cutting table. This design keeps the rolls in the correct position throughout the production process.
Printed part
The printing part is the core of flexographic printing machine, using short ink path inking system. There are two ink rollers, and even one ink roller is equipped with an ink scraper, which can realize the uniform and quantitative transfer of ink from ink to the plate surface.
